The Cleveland Orchestra released their first commercial recording in 1924. It’s a fitting part of the orchestra’s distinguished history.

As a tangent to our History of Telarc project, we’d like to share this gem of a timeline from the Cleveland Orchestra (screenshot below). Included at the 1924 mark is a link to a digital transfer of the Orchestra’s first commercially released recording.
